As we approach the end of the year I find myself reflecting on set goals, memorable moments, lessons learned and a long list of things for which i am immensely grateful.
This year has been wonderful - I have taught over a dozen arts education programs with a motley crew of incredibly noteworthy institutions, arts centers, theaters, schools and organizations. I exceeded my goal of inspiring over 1000 young artists through several after school programs, summer training programs, workshops, arts residencies, lectures, panels and more.
And there was plenty of performing too! I filmed commercials for the new ANNIE remake, GLASSROOTS, a local arts non profit and an industrial for KODAK. I performed in a few play readings and I write today from beautiful Florida where i’m in rehearsals to play “Little Moe” in a new stage production of “Five Guys Named Moe”! Thank you for your prayers, well wishes and most of all your SUPPORT.
Looking forward I have my heart set on creating, teaching, performing and advocating even more. Next year is already ramping up to be an exciting year of opportunity, new projects and greater works.
Thank you so much for the overwhelming love and support this past year. It is my hope that as a new year dawns you will continue to consider me for any opportunities that may arise. And last but not least, please raise your glass. To health, wealth, prosperity, love, peace, art, sunflowers, life, healing, faith and purpose. Happiest of holidays to you & yours. Dont forget the REASON behind the SEASON.
In Grace & Gratefulness,
Daryl L. Stewart
