Spring signifies a season change. In many different ways, it represents refreshing newness. So I took that theme and ran with it. Personally, I terminated toxic relationships and associates who meant me no good. I recommitted to my personal health and wellness, scheduling and KEEPing my doctor and dentist appointments and working out. I re-balanced my days spending more time with friends and family. Its been a long term of goal of mine to balance my work and personal life. All work and no play is NO fun.
But newness took root all over my life. I overhauled my entire career. I was tired of riding in the passenger seat so I kicked the driver out and begin driving my career myself. I took new headshots with the incredible Ted Ely (tedely.com), began to work with The Carry Company, created this new website, revamped my resume, diversified my training and began to focus on my first love. CREATING.
I have three public performance bookings coming up, a speaking engagement, a musical which I associate directed and choreographed, a unique four school project with the Johnny Mercer Foundation/NJPAC.
And thats just the tip of the iceberg!
Spring is a time to water the things you want to grow. For me, right now, that's my personal life, my spiritual life, my career, my development, my health and wellness and my love for life. Look at this spring as your opportunity for newness and take advantage of it. You are your own master. Dont be afraid to decorate, redecorate, reorganize and refocus your life to accomplish the things you want. Only YOU can.
