The downtown Division Street pedestrian mall will be transformed into the Great White Way as the Downtown Somerville Alliance joins with Daryl Stewart Productions to host "Showtune Sundays," a series of tributes to Broadway shows and music. The shows begin at 3 p.m. and will take place on Sundays between July 11 and Aug. 1, featuring a collection of award-winning performers. There is no admission charge. Those who attend are encouraged to bring their own chairs. No RSVP is required.
The Encore Orchestra of New Jersey under the direction of Ilene Greenbaum featuring Bonita Hamilton from Broadway’s “The Lion King” and supported by a cast of exceptional singers from regional and touring productions. This evening will feature Broadway favorites, accompanied by a live orchestra. Under the direction of Maestra Ilene Greenbaum, this evening of showtunes is sure to be a highlight of your summer!

AN INCOMPLETE HISTORY OF BROADWAY (2021) Through an exciting new creative partnership with The Johnny Mercer Foundation and vala, production is underway for new five part series entitled AN INCOMPLETE HISTORY OF BROADWAY. The series stars Indigo Jackson as Claire, Victoria Duffy as T.J. and Xavier McKnight as Marcus. It is co-written, produced and directed by Daryl Stewart under his new production arm -- Daryl Stewart Productions. Stewart is joined by co-writer and co-producer Ryan McGovern.
